1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using ArogyaKosha in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. ArogyaKosha is operated by Polytechnique Solutions LLP ("we", "us", "our").
2. The service
ArogyaKosha is a personal record-keeping application that lets you store and organise your own medical information — medications, prescriptions, diagnostic reports, hospital admissions, diagnoses, and chronic conditions — with client-side encryption. It is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
3. Accounts & eligibility
- You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Family accounts let an account owner add up to 6 members, including dependents; the account owner is responsible for records entered on behalf of family members and dependents under their vault.
- You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract to create an account.
4. Subscription plans & billing
- Two subscription options are available: Basic at ₹999.00 + GST (up to 4 members) and Pro at ₹1,199.00 + GST (up to 6 members).
- Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We do not store your card or bank details.
- Subscriptions are renewed yearly. You can cancel at any time — see our Cancellation & Refund Policy for details on billing after cancellation.
- We may revise subscription pricing; existing subscribers will be notified in advance of any change taking effect on their next billing cycle.
5. Vault PIN & data recovery
Your encrypted health records can be unlocked with either your Vault PIN or the 24-character Recovery Code shown to you once when you set up your vault. If you lose both your Vault PIN and your Recovery Code, your records cannot be recovered by anyone — including us. This is by design: true privacy means no backdoor, not even for the service provider.
- Store your Vault PIN and your Recovery Code securely (e.g., in a trusted password manager) — each independently unlocks your vault.
- If you forget your PIN, use "Forgot PIN" on the vault screen with your Recovery Code to regain access without losing any data.
- A Vault Reset permanently and irreversibly deletes all your records — this cannot be undone, and should only be used if you've lost both your PIN and your Recovery Code.
- We strongly recommend keeping a separate encrypted backup of any critical records using the export feature.
6. Not a medical device or service
ArogyaKosha is a personal record-keeping application. It is not a medical device, clinical decision support system, diagnostic tool, or healthcare service, and is not regulated or approved by any medical regulatory authority (such as CDSCO, FDA, CE, or equivalent bodies). It is designed solely to help individuals store and organise their own personal health information.
7. No medical advice
Nothing within ArogyaKosha constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendation, or a substitute for the advice of a qualified healthcare professional.
- Always consult a licensed physician or specialist for medical decisions.
- Do not use this application to self-diagnose or self-treat any condition.
- In a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately.
8. Accuracy of information
ArogyaKosha stores information exactly as entered by the user. We do not verify, validate, or cross-check any medical data entered into the system. The accuracy, completeness, and currency of all health records stored is entirely the responsibility of the user. Records stored in ArogyaKosha should not be used as the sole authoritative source of medical truth in any clinical setting without independent verification by a qualified professional.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Polytechnique Solutions LLP shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- The use or inability to use the application
- Any medical decision made based on information stored in the app
- Loss of data due to a forgotten Vault PIN (recovery is impossible by design)
- Unauthorised access resulting from user negligence (e.g., sharing credentials or PINs)
- Server downtime, data corruption, or technical failures beyond our control
Use of ArogyaKosha is entirely at your own risk.
10. Intellectual property
The ArogyaKosha name, logo, and application are the property of Polytechnique Solutions LLP. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the application except as permitted by law.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive or unlawful behaviour, or attempt to compromise the security of the service. You may close your account at any time from the Profile page or by contacting us.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Telangana, India.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of ArogyaKosha after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
